Model UN Experience

On Wednesday, May 10, 2011 my 8th period class participated in the Model UN function at the State Department. I worked with Mykia and we represented the country of Bolivia. WE HAD A BLAST!!! We met new people and we saw some people that are going to Wilson. We're both going to Wilson. Anyways, Model UN was basically about portraying the actual United Nations. It was basically putting on a show. Before we went, we studied our chosen countries and got a better idea of what the United Nations is and does. Overall, we had a great time and I look forward to going back every year.
